Creative Mercenaries, a team of professionals and graduates from the creative industries, have just released the pilot episode of a UK docuseries that explores local music scenes across the nation to put underrepresented bands and locations back on the map.

The Folk Album Of The Year Award was launched to celebrate the most artistically acclaimed albums released in Britain and Ireland. The high-profile jury, who will shortlist the albums to be revealed in November, includes Mark Radcliffe, Jude Rogers, Rob Cowen, Anna Massie and more.
